BT 4/3A Twin Secondary Wall Socket

Our twin BT Wall Extension Socket 4/3A has two circuits wired separately for two independent extension sockets, it features IDC punch down terminals for easy installation.  The socket measures 86mm x 86mm, fits a standard back box and is supplied with fixing screws.

PLEASE NOTE: This BT extension socket should be connected to either a master socket or another extension socket, it cannot be used as a master socket (a master socket connects to the main cable entering a property from a telephone operator). The surface mounted faceplate can be fitted to a wall using a standard single back box & fixing screws, just like an aerial socket or power plug socket. This wall plate has two separately wired sockets so you can extend two lines with this wall plate.  Alternatively, it also allows you to wire one of the connections on the back to the first connection creating a loop, thus allowing you to plug 2 phones into the same line.
